Pre-loved and reimagined with South Asian craft. This vintage chore coat was upcycled using embroidery inspired by traditional Warli motifs. Warli is an art form that hails from a tribe of the same name in Maharashtra, India, and dates back to as early as the 10th century. Warli motifs are centered on their social life, portraying scenes of hunting, fishing and farming with images of people, trees and animals.
The piece has been machine embroidered by hand by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India and is one-of-a-kind.
